Coach Michele's interest in nutrition and her desire to help others optimize their health, wellbeing, and performance through sound nutritional choices stems from her own quest for finding what worked for her.

I was overwhelmed by countless studies in the media touting the latest ideas on the ‘right way’ to eat, so I set out to develop my own nutrition plan. My intake began with basic whole foods; from there I paid careful attention to how I felt after eating various foods. Because of the demands of my run training schedule, I became even more in-tune with how what I ate before, during, and after exercise affected my workouts and my recovery. As a result, I discovered the importance of nutrient timing. Today, I am passionate about helping others put together a plan that works equally well for them.

CUSTOM NUTRITION PLANNING

Nutrition Analysis + 4-week Custom Nutrition Plan: $375 (includes any applicable tax)

All first-time custom nutrition plans come with a Nutrition Analysis; this is where your nutrition change begins. We’ll compare where are you now with where you want to be. You will be given intake forms and an online assessment tool to easily record what you're eating, when you're eating it, and your physical activity for three days. Upon completion, you'll receive a detailed breakdown of your current caloric intake and the percentage of carbohydrates, protein and fat you're consuming. Nutritional recommendations will be made based on your desired fitness goal(s)—to lose weight, grow or maintain lean muscle, gain weight or optimize athletic performance.

You will receive a weekly nutrition plan (with recipes that include nutritional data and a shopping list) for a total of 4 weeks. All the recipes are based on whole foods and are built with a nutrition profile to fuel an active lifestyle. Please allow two weeks (once completing the intake form and nutrition analysis) for your first week’s custom nutrition plan to be delivered.

WHAT IS NUTRIENT TIMING?

Nutrient timing can make a world of difference in how you perform throughout the day, whether you're at your desk, practicing your sport, running errands, or racing through your to-do list.  A custom nutrition plan—what to eat, how much, and when—can jump start healthy changes, help you maintain successful patterns when life gets busy, and/or help you reach your race weight.

Although I thought I had a good nutrition plan, I was not making any movement on losing weight or body fat. I engaged Michele to work with me. With her guidance and experience I have lost 10 lbs and 5% BF. It was so easy, all I have to do is shop, cook and eat. Getting a weekly plan with all of the recipes needed along with a shopping list was so helpful. I was also in a rut with my running and have since had 2 strong 50-mile runs, including most recently a PR on a tough course. I would highly recommend Michele to anyone that is looking for that extra push and guidance. You will not be disappointed.

This was a great program to introduce me to fueling my body rather than just eating. I learned how to eat the proper foods and when to eat to keep me full through the day and not have cravings in the afternoon or evening. I wasn’t even tempted when offered cookies, etc. Part of that was making a commitment to the plan. It was very helpful to know what I was eating for the day and when I would have my next “fuel” so I didn’t have to think about it at the last minute or when I thought that I was hungry. It seems to be a great way to slowly shed pounds while still getting enough of the proper foods to keep my body fueled.
